TCP/IP CONFIGURATION

In this section we will show how to configuring TCP/IP on Windows operating system and identified the IP Address for the Ulearn System Server.



STEP 1
Click start or your window button and search Control Panel.





STEP 2
After you have open the control panel, there will be a list of choices. Double click on Network And Internet.




STEP 3
When you open the network and internet, there have two choices which is Network And Sharing Center and Internet Options. Click on Network And Sharing Center.




STEP 4
After you click on network and sharing center, there will be a list of internet connection. No matter you use WI-FI or ethernet is up to you but, in this case we using 'Kolej Kediaman Pelajar' WI-FI to connect to the WI-FI network. Go to the connections and click on 'Kolej Kediaman Pelajar' to connect to the WI-FI.




STEP 5
After that, the network adapter will popped out. Click on Properties.



STEP 6
Next, you will find Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) in the list. Click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4).



STEP 7
Next, the host will appeard. To set our own configuration, choose Use The Following IP Address and start configure it manually.





STEP 8
Lastly, put an IP Address for Ulearn System Server from Question 2 Subnetting Calculation. The 5th available address is 208.198.52.0. The subnet mask will be automatically filled. Click OK and we will be redirected to the Ulearn System Server.
